BRAYDEN PRO BABY
Advanced CPR training
Brayden Baby Pro is now available and closely resembles the Brayden Baby Advanced in appearance which allows flexibility of training but with additional capability. Both infant manikins also use the same consumables which keeps the costs down. The Brayden Baby Pro provides comprehensive objective/numeric information of infant CPR performance and is designed to connect with the free iPad iOS App (Brayden Online Standard) as well as other subscription based iOS Brayden Online options.
The Brayden Baby Pro manikin provides numbers (objective data) when this is needed to validate infant CPR performance. Its flexibility in use with the recently introduced Brayden Online product range and added features for scenario use makes it the ideal choice for training infant CPR in the hospital and pre-hospital setting.
Features

Provides unique intuitive real-time ventilation feedback using lights and sound. Brayden Baby Pro also provides additional real-time feedback via Brayden Online.

Correct chest compression technique (depth, rate, recoil and finger/thumb position) using lights on the manikin. Brayden Baby Pro also provides additional real-time feedback via Brayden Online.

Easy to use and intuitive debrief of infant BLS performance provided via Brayden Online.

A: + and – allows ventilation feedback to be audio and/or lights.
B: Scenario button switches on brachial pulse.

The brachial pulse function can be used for infant BLS scenarios when required.

Brayden Baby Pro joins Brayden Pro (adult) working with Brayden Online Standard.

Training Menu
This menu provides training options for infant resuscitation skills practice and assessment. There are six options to choose from:
- Chest Compressions Only Practice: This option allows chest compressions to be practiced with real-time feedback provided on the tablet screen (and manikin) to help optimize performance. A full debrief is provided when completed.
- Ventilation Only Practice: This option allows ventilations to be practiced with real-time feedback provided on the tablet screen (and manikin) to help optimize performance. This is ideal for respiratory arrest scenarios. A full debrief is provided when completed.
- 30:2 Infant CPR (AHA) Practice: This option combines compressions and ventilations in accordance with the AHA algorithm with full real-time feedback and provides a full debrief when completed to optimize performance.
- 30:2 Infant CPR (AHA) Assessment: This option records the performance of the student but with no real-time feedback on the screen or the manikin. A full debrief is provided when completed.
- 5, 15:2 Infant CPR (ERC) Practice: This option combines compressions and ventilations in accordance with the ERC algorithm (including 5 initial rescue ventilations) with full real-time feedback and a full debrief to help optimize performance.
- 5, 15:2 Infant CPR (ERC) Assessment: This option records the performance of the student but with no real-time feedback on the screen or the manikin. A full debrief provided when completed (including the 5 initial rescue ventilations).

Compression Only Training
This screen allows students to see how well they are performing CPR in real-time. This is in addition to the feedback provided by the manikin lights.
Presented below are brief descriptions for each metric:
- No. of Compressions
Records the number of compressions performed. - Cycle
Records the number of cycles performed (when in ERC or AHA practice mode). - CPR Event Period
Records the elapsed time for the training event. - Compression Depth and Rate Indicator
Guides the student to perform compressions at the correct depth, rate (speed) and with the correct recoil between compressions. Also provides “hands off” time when compressions are not being performed. - Compression Depth and Rate Matrix
Allows all chest compressions per cycle to be viewed to help encourage consistent and correct compression technique. - Finger Position
Provides real-time feed-back of fingers (or thumbs) position and provides an indication (red light) when the finger position is incorrect.

Compression & Ventilation Training - AHA
- Ventilation Volume and Speed
Provides real-time feedback of ventilation performance with regard to the correct volume of air delivered and the speed of delivery.

Compression & Ventilation Training - ERC
This screen allows students to see how well they are performing CPR in real-time. This is in addition to the feedback provided by the manikin lights.
This mode includes the 5 initial ventilations at the start of the event.

Assessment CPR : AHA
- When this option is selected, the student is asked to perform 3 cycles of infant CPR with an algorithm of 30 compressions to 2 ventilations (30:2)
- No real-time feedback is provided during the assessment period, via the app or the manikin.
- Upon completion of the assessment, the app provides full debrief information for the student to review.

Assessment CPR : ERC
- When this option is selected, the student is asked to perform 5 rescue ventilations and then 3 cycles of infant CPR with the algorithm of 15 compressions to 2 ventilations (15:2).
- No real-time feedback is provided during the assessment period, via the app or the manikin.
- Upon completion of the assessment, the app provides full debrief information for the student to review.
Brayden Baby Pro, working with Brayden Online, allows multiple Practice and Assessment options. These cater for the AHA infant BLS algorithm (30:2) as well as the ERC infant BLS algorithm (5 rescue breaths, 15:2).
Comprehensive objective/numeric information is provided by Brayden Online and enables all relevant infant CPR parameters to be assessed.
